The Senior Consultant participates as a member of a team responsible for the day-to-day activities at an internal audit engagement or consulting engagement, including, but not limited to: planning, organizing and interacting with the management team, executing specific detail tasks assigned by the project manager. Internal Audits and other consulting assignments may be of financial, operational, compliance, managerial, or strategic in nature.
Specific Activities and Responsibilities:
- Assist with development of project scope of internal audit or consulting assignment.
- Develop documentation of existing internal controls and internal processes
- Review and evaluate the effectiveness of internal controls in a variety of business areas.
- Develop solutions to strengthen controls, improve profitability and aid management decision-making capability.
- Perform Due diligence work or special reviews/investigations as needed.
- Assist in oral and written presentations to management during and at the conclusion of the examination, discussing deficiencies and recommending corrective actions to improve operations and reduce cost.
- Build relationships with and gain the confidence of appropriate client management personnel.

Senior Solutions Engineer - Great team & high growth
We are looking for a Senior Solutions Engineer with exceptional communication and technical skills to handle pre-sales of our targeted solutions for the east coast accounts. You will work directly with our account sales managers to develop the value proposition of our company?s products; author demos of the latest company products; and present solutions and demos directly to the customers. You will engage the customers on both technical and non-technical levels to ensure superior service as well as work directly with engineering teams to resolve issues. Not only should you have exceptional technical aptitude, but also be a confident presenter with excellent verbal skills who can prepare and present technical material to both business and technical audiences.
Requirements:
- BS in Computer Science or equivalent.
- Knowledgeable with Web-related technologies (HTTP/HTML, XML, ASPX, TCP/IP...).
- Working knowledge of relational database administration (Ms SQL preferred).
- Working experience with Dot.Net MS web services is a plus.
- 2+ years of technical sales or field sales experience.
- 2+ years of application development experience.

Student Loan Control Representative 1
These positions exist in the New York State Higher Education Services Corporation in Albany and the State University of New York at Albany in Rensselaer. There are 145 positions; all but seven are located in the New York State Higher Education Services Corporation.
Duties
As a Student Loan Control Representative 1, under supervision of a Student Loan Control Representative 2, you would perform a variety of collection activities requiring regular contact with borrowers, lending institutions, and third parties for the prevention and collection of defaulted student loans. You would be working in an environment using the latest technology, software, and automated telephone operations to handle large volumes of incoming and outgoing phone calls. You would interact with customers via inbound and outbound calls, and would be responsible for the collection of delinquent and defaulted student loans. This may require you to explain the collection process; access computer systems in order to provide detailed explanations of accounts; update borrower account information; answer questions concerning the provisions and requirements of the student loan program; prepare written responses to requests for information; provide technical information on other collection options such as settlements; explain actions available to collect the debt; perform skip tracing activities utilizing the latest technologies available; and obtain other pertinent information required to resolve cases. Other duties include but are not limited to negotiating payment arrangements, reviewing financial documentation, and initiating and determining the next step in collection actions. You would be expected to act in a calm, courteous, and reasonable manner even under very difficult, highly stressful, and at times, confrontational circumstances. All calls are subject to monitoring for quality assurance.
